I had a GSP. But when Duck hunting my Father & Brother say I'm the dog, I even swam after a goose once in my underwear. I do loose very few birds & can out retrieve most dogs & my longest retrieve of over a quarter mile. Good Hunting.

Yes Cheasapeaks are great Waterfoul dogs, My Grandfather had two. Its also good you had your gloves on as they are very oily fur. Very Nice Picture.

I don't get why some people get so bent about silver labs. I own one, wife wanted it. He's one and a very good family dog so far I have no complaints.

Here some reading for you. Since you already purchased one, you are probably biased, some interesting reading if you skip through the BS. To be fair, I am biased too. I do not want the lab breed destroyed because someone wants to make a buck off a designer breed.
Just curious, did you get EIC and CNM clearances on your pup?

How are Silver Labs destroying the lab breed? I was under the impression that they were deemed to be pure bred labs?
