I saw my first butterballs last weekend, but it was at a zoo. This cool spring has had me worried about nesting success.

its only a matter of time before they start gettin their feathers, and we start seein a bunch of new birds flyin around!! last year was a great year and its lookin like this year could produce some good numbers as well

been seeing quite a few broods for the last week, with the first almost two weeks ago. Looks like a good year so far. We missed our usual spring flood and all is well!
