The Waterfowl Association of Iowa's 5th annual Iowa Waterfowl Summit will be held Saturday August 8.

There will be a tour of Union Hills waterfowl production area at 10 am.

The rest of the program will be held at the Lime Creek Nature center in Mason City from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.

Union Hills is located approximately 9 miles south of Clear Lake on B55, The access road to Lime Creek turns east off of Hwy 65 on the north edge of Mason City.

The State Waterfowl Biologist and the Wildlife Bureau Chief will be available for questions or comments as well as several speakers including:

DNR Recreational Safety Officer Jeff Barnes, "Hunter Recruitment and Retention"

Assistant Hunter Education and Outreach Coordinator Donise Grygierczyk "Hunter Education & Outreach Opportunities" (Outdoor Journey, Hunting and
Conservation Camp, Youth Hunter Education Challenge, Becoming and Outdoors Woman, Mentor Hunts)

Vince Evelsizer, wetland/shallow lakes monitoring and
the state wetland plan

Randy Cook, Scholastic Clay Target Program and youth outreach.

and more.

The Waterfowl Summit is free to attend and you do not need to RSVP, please bring a friend!
