open water boat camo

Been wanting to try and hunt the middle of some smaller lakes with the canoe. Should I just grass it up and look like a very small island? also thinking about covering it up with a tarp but not really sure of what color to try. the waters brown but at an angle its more of a shiny silverish blue.
Anyone try this or have any ideas? Thanks

Paint "waves" on it. Be careful with that canoe though. They aren't known for being stable craft.

I would go about grassing it up and trying to look like an island. But like stated before becareful out there and goodluck! We have done this in the past and pounded the birds when nobody else was.

its a big canoe 17'. I have shot 30lb carp out of it with two people so i feel pretty safe I also have pods for the sides to help make it stable.

I'd say grass it up. Can't be that much different than a layout boat.

we anchor my 18ft out in open water and shoot ducks at 15 yards..... brush it in and the biggest part is DONT move...... Movements the biggest killer of em all
