New to any forum. Long time waterfowler. I have hunted five different states, two countries, and guided at Fergus Falls. Got slowed down with a disability but still get out. I like to help others enjoy the sport now. Shooting birds is not the prize. Fooling them to land in your decoys and watching good dog work is what it is all about.
Agreed. Love to see birds respond to calls, cup up, and drop in. Then seeing the dog get all excited and go after them. Just wish I could find where the birds are at to get the dog more experience.
Have you tried Weise Slough on the Muscatine side. Some times pretty good. Up hear in N. Ia. last Tues. we got a really good bunch of new ducks and geese.
Welcome to the site. I agree love working the birds
