Hey fellas, my name is Zach. I'm 21 and from Des Moines. A buddy of mine just got me into waterfowling last year, and I absolutely love it. I found this site when I was searching the web for more info on waterfowl hunting in Iowa and thought it would be a good place for a greenhorn such as myself to learn a thing or two.

Thanks for the warm welcome. And iowasteve64, what part are you from if you don't mind me asking? Also, what are some good marshes in the area? I don't have a duck boat, so areas that require a boat are out of the question for me.
