Hey everyone,
I decided to start a Delta Waterfowl Chapter for Linn and Johnson County. I talked to Adam Benker with Delta and we set up our first meeting. He will explain how Delta works and help us get started. This will be our first meeting and I will need committee members. I have a few guys interested but will need more.
Our first meeting will be at the Solon Library @ 6:00pm on Feb 11th. If you have any questions either ask on here or contact me.
Thanks,
Jeremy Stolba

Wish a Delta chapter would get started up in my neck of the woods. Seems alot of people that i talk to anyways are quitting going to DU banquets and buying memberships as they aren't seeing much for backyard help. This might give some an alternate avenue.

zman,
I'm not really going to get into the whole DU thing. I am a DU member and always will be.
Delta puts a lot of money back into your back yard. With Habitat, predator control, and scholarships, one way or another they are getting your money back into your area.
It really isn't that hard to get a chapter started. 3-4 guys is all that it takes.
The hardest thing I have had to deal with is DU members. They don't like the thought of another organization in their area. It only take the convincing of a couple of members before they start to see the benefits.
