I figure some of you guys have this call on here, just wondering what the HYBRID INSERT has gained you guys over other LMC calls? Is it a longer barrell then? Creating a deeper honker tone?

I bought one a couple years ago and really like it. With out the flared end it seems to fit my hands better. I really like the deep goose I can get from the call as well
I have had one for a little over a year now and really like it, my favorite call I've ever owned. Having some problems with it sticking a little bit lately, but that's probably because I've messed with it after George tuned it and/or need a new reed. Really like the tone and range of sounds it has.

As for the hyrbid insert vs. the regular slipknot insert, the hybrid insert is a straight bore. The insert isn't bored narrower-to-wider like the slipknot insert and most other calls are. Not exactly sure what it does for ya, but I think it's supposed to be a little louder than the slipknot insert. It's got a lot of low end in it and is fairly loud if need be. At least to my ears, the call sounds more like a goose than other calls that sound, well....like a goose call (not a goose).
Sounds like this call is my next ticket.
I just ordered a goose noose hybrid they are supose to be thier deepest sounding call. They dont have them on the web site yet but call them and ask for it. Hopefully its here tomorow.
I will extend a hand out to any of the Iowa Waterfowler guys that need anything for their LMC calls.......Reeds, whatever guts I have at the time, ect, ect. Whatever to help get ya back full tilt on the honks.

I need a couple reeds, how far are you from Ft. Dodge? I bought a reaper a couple months ago and split the reed in it. Pretty sweet call and it sounded great with the paper thin reed that was in but they just aren't that durable shaved so thin.

30 minutes NE of ya.
Off topic but... if you're looking for deep sounds, my field proven adrenaline is probably the deepest call I've ever heard. It could just be the way I blow it but I like it a lot and the instructional dvd that came with it was a great help.

I looked at the slipknot but went with the adrenaline after Field gave me a a short lesson even though I couldn't even get a goosey sound out of it that day.

I have a pair of LMC Slipknot Hybrids, one in maple and one in arcylic. Both are pure goose!

Before those, I had the Goose Noose and even though I liked the call, I prefer the narrower insert of the hybrid insert which fits around your hand better. I also believe it blows alittle smoother and easier too.

Between a Slipknot Hybrid and Reaper, you got yourself a good one two punch for those big Canada's.

Advantage Condn. Gun?!?! Your move.

On the side....I'll look into this call.
I see there is a lawmaker on ebay right now, if someone is looking. No affiliation.
Doug, if we cross paths at Big Marsh again you're more than welcome to blow my slipknot if you don't have one by then
the law maker is pretty damn awesome...got my hands on one recently and got her tuned the way i like it...the unfortunate thing is that now, i might have to keep it. i've blown a lot of the lmc stuff, and so far this is by far my favorite. i liked it a lot more than the stage reaper
