if it is as reliable as my buddies SBE2 they can keep it. His is normally a single shot maybe a double shot at best.

Ummmmmm

I've been around numerous waterfowlers who shoot the SBEII and everyone of them swears by them....including myself. In my own opinion.....there are 2 types of waterfowlers....The ones that shoot the SBEII and the ones who wish they shoot the SBEII.

Sooooo many people comment negatively either because they can't justify the price tag or just plain can't afford it. I'll put up some money saying that if one of these haters were to win one of these at a Ducks Unlimited banquet (Or anywhere else) they'd be pulling it out of the case every morning come waterfowling time.

Negative... I've been shooting a beretta since I was 12. I've shot numerous SBE II's and when it came down to judgement day I chose to buy a new extrema. What you say has some truth to it though. When you watch videos such as Fallin skies and see the Foiles boys (Sponsored by Benelli) piling up birds then you will get guys thinking that if they can do that with a Benelli then so can I. It's a brand... Just like when people watched Michael Jordan throw down a dunk from the free throw line, people raced out to buy the newest pair of Jordans. So it's all in how you let the market affect you. To each his own

I totally agree. I love my m2 its never malfunctioned. I keep it clean, but have had it really dirty, muddy and even gotten sand in the action. It has never not cycled. I know guys that dont clean them all season and still never have any problems. IMO most guns that waterfowlers use are good guns.

I agree. My uncle has a SBEII. I would go with the Extema. It is all just a choice of what you like and what fits you. I would really want to sell them both, and buy the 390 and have a couple hundred bucks for decoys.

I like my 390 but if given the choice(or if I had your guys money) I'd shoot a SBE over it. My 390 is one dirty gun gas wise, through out a season I'll get quite a bit of spent powder residue in the chamber and if one doesn't stay on top of it(take out trigger assembly and clean), it can turn into a single shot come 10 degrees or lower.

Ia your a damn 390 sellout!!!! Turncoat!!!! In all reality I see alot of guy's on the net swearing buy there nellis, and I am not the one to tell them that they are wrong/right. The friends that I have that are die hards that shoot the sbeII hate em right now, {and it's not cause they don't kleen it} There old 1100's and such required way more maint. Don't take this wrong cause the black eagles are wonderfull for some.... They just aren't in my circle, and our conditions. We shoot guns that work for us no matter how some expert jackass rates them... AND this is my own opinionso take it as a grain of salt......

Yes I had one bad day with the berreta shooting into flock after flock of migrators with a single shot 390. And in most cases I may as well throw my first shot in the water with ducks cause 60% of the time its a miss followed by one or two hits. I think I lead better on the rise. Maybe this will help Clipper.............I think the Benelli Nova is the worst/ugliest shotgun ever made, pumping that thing, is like pumping a Volkswagon. The Great Oz has spoken.
