Well yesturday (jan 26th) was the last day to hunt Canadas in most of Nebraska so a buddy invited me to go hunting with a buddy of his. We did pretty well. shot 19 but ended with 18 and a band. One was a cripple that we couldnt find. We think a coyote got it cause we saw one in the field we saw the goose go after!

The guy in the pic is my buddy. The pics that I am in I dont have a copy sent to me yet. Now on to Western Nebrasaka for more honkers

I hunt up in the panhandle frequently and there are a ton of birds but they are as spooky as can be.
If you are headed out there this weekend....bring a tee shirt to hunt in!! Its been between between 55 and 65 degrees all week and isn't changing anytime soon. I'm really starting to miss the snow and below zero temps.
