welll.... :D im a member of Alpha Gamma Rho and farm house and us have a little hot water if he is an ag major he should check out agr, farm house isnt really an ag fraternity its what you take it at but im going to say he should swing by the agr house if he is an ag major :D

all in all it would be a good choice to look at some of the fraternities they have alot to offer and some have some problems so just have him look into them

My older bro was a Farm Houser...loved every minute of it. Always had great things to say about the guys and everything about the house. I would have been one too if I would have gone to ISU instead of going to persue college baseball.

not sure on harmhouses pledging program but agr has you move in as soon as you pledge so you have to break your dorm contract which is easy through the greek system here. Isu really supports the greek system which is great.

I hunt a lot of both actually. My best waterfowling was in Missouri last year by far...as for deer and turkeys I head home. Are you located in Iowa then on 71 or in Missouri?

Frats are a good way to meet people. If thats not your thing look into some of the houses for sale in the area. Lots and lots of them at decent prices... If you are into hunting alot then a Frat IMO is not the place to be. I was a Pike for a year and then it got to be too much time invlovement. If you join a frat remember your time is also 50 other peoples time.

If it were me i'd hook up with a couple buddies and rent or buy into a house.

If you guys need a renters name send me a PM. I have a hunting buddy who rents alot of centrally located stuff in Ames.
