Well sportsman can thank thier republican committee members for what sportsman will get out of any IDNR lic increase. I can tell you this, you will not get 1 red penny for habitat, Enhancement, Restoration, acquisition or other. What you might see is an increase in some fees to help cover the cost of employees / staff and other things. However my fellow republicans felt you as Sportsman don't need any habitat help and you sure as hell don't need those revenues to better manage said habitat we do have. Nope, call your republican Committee members and ask that they explain this stupid shit.

I laughed my ass off when I heard 1 republican committee member say that the 8.6 million lic increase was a little to much. LOL I said to him and I am a Republican myself, you mean to tell me all those Millions in tax credits you guys gave away for the last 7 years was small? I wish you guys had been a little hawkish on that shit as you are about Habitat Stamp Dollars.

There are a few on there that think YOU as a Sportsman do not have the right to have the IDNR act as your agent in acquiring lands nor do they think your money should be used in a joint partnership with other federal agencies to acquire lands. Ask them about that shit to.

So for a lot of guys who like to bitch about your fkn lic costing you more than you think it should because you think that your paying for a whole lot of Nothing, Well call your Republican counterpart up and tell him fkn Thank you for the very shit your sick and tired of. Don't blame the IDNR my boys, blame the people you put into office who care not about you as a sportsman or the future of our Heritage. That's how I judge folks. IT'S NOT REALLY ABOUT WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO FOR ME, BUT HOW AND WHAT ARE WE GOING TO LEAVE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF IOWA SPORTSMAN.

I am a trite pissed off. Thats my rant sorry for the abuse boys. Carry On.

I am serious you guys. Call those Republicans up and ask them WHY THEY OBJECTED TO THE HABITAT STAMP INCREASES AND THAT WAS ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH NR fees to.

I am going to do a little more questioning on the annual projected operation expenses of the IDNR as a whole.

I will say this and it is a large part of what farmers are doing. Policies my boys set to put our farmers to do things that force them to make a buck. policies set by others not farmers drive farmers to do what you see in a lot of cases. Price of equipment these days, price of seed, price of fertilizer and so goes the daisy chain of dollars being sucked right out of the farmer pocket before he even harvests a crop. Hell we haven't even gotten to the basic of living and raising a family. Just adding a little perspective to the complicated issue we see out on the Iowa landscape. Then you have some who simply don't give a rats ass one way or the other as they know the consequences of thier actions will be subsidized by the tax payer. Just adding the other perspective to the issue.

I was asked a few years ago why I live in Iowa vs a lot of the other states I lived in like SD. My answer was simple as I am a Habitat man myself. There was no place like Iowa where opportunity to improve habitat and hunting was greater. It is a challange to say the least but the effort and some success is way worth it to me. I live here and I will die here trying to put habitat and opportunity on the ground. 1 day they will plant my ass in the ground to. Both actions are permanent. LOL I like it. Time to go take my meds.:drinking:
