Found another use for the retractable garden hose they sale on TV. Everyone I've had, failed at coupling, and couldn't be fixed with a worm gear clamp. After removing the cloth outer layer, the hose looks to be surgical tubing. I cut the tubing into 3-4" segments and fold it over and use sissors to cut corners at fold to make holes in segment. I then snail a single barb No. 4 hook on to 30Lb line 18" long and run it up thru worm segment. Have used this dip bait worm for two seasons with good results. Holds the bait well and gives another use for an otherwise useless hose. 50 footer makes a whole bunch of worms.
