Moist soil habitat hasn't looked this good around Red Rock for many, many years, now we just need a miracle and get some water into that habitat. Looking at the forecast for central IA, that is not happening in the next 10 days. Rivergauges, they are not forecasting much of a rise either. So far they haven't been able to get it to the 742 mark yet. I am guessing the inflow is not enough for them to raise it to the levels requested by the DNR. If they are able to get it to the requested 746, it will be amazing but wont be happening for awhile yet.
We will probably get a monsoon around December 9th..
