So, I'm starting up a channel on YouTube where I do gear reviews and fishing and hunting videos. Got my first review up tonight as a first go at it. Wanted to see if you guys can check it out. Maybe give some suggestions on how I do my reviews?

I liked the video and information you provided. I think it could of been better if you had been sitting behind a desk with the spinner on the desk and a closer up shot of the spinner and sitting up straighter not like in a recliner watching TV. I had the volume of my iPad on max and could barely here you some times but I am old I think the closer up will help with that.
I think your idea of doing reviews is a solid idea to provide people with real user experience. Again nice video I think you are off to a good start and they will only inprove. Take Care 👍

Thanks for the feedback. I recorded it with my Action Cam/GoPro this time but I think for the next one like this, I will record it from my computer's camera. That may help with the angle and the audio.

To add motion and ripples to the water get one of the mojo booty shakers. The weight will make the decoy rock and motion. They are come with a paddle that attaches to the pole for the spinnersame than go on those but with the weight on the decoy you have really helps put some movement in the water. A buddy of mine lost the paddle for his and tried it. Wound up buying 2 more of floaters and just uses his stake mounted spinners in the fields now. I had a video of it he sent me but can't find it now. He did say that the battery life is about half with the weight added, but not sure if that was because of the colder Temps or the weight.

I can do that. I didn't get much video this season since my cam is a new addition but can add that stuff once season starts. I plan to fix the audio and camera angle in the mean time.

Thanks, beac! It's a new thing and I wanna make it a good resource for outdoors enthusiasts (I'll do fishing and maybe some deer hunting stuff as well as waterfowl.) I plan to do a decoy rig discussion soon as well on Texas Rig vs Keel Grabbers.

I've subbed to you, so I'll watch any new videos you post. All I ask is that you teach me a thing or two, or inform me about something in each video. I've seen too many "outdoor review" videos on YouTube that are nothing more than advertising attempts. We need more people like you to tell us what we wanna hear and know. The good, the bad, and the ugly about products

That's my goal. I've got no sponsors, so no need to push any products I don't believe in. I try to be thorough. Feel free to jump in the discussion on the comments if you have something new to add too. I plan to have the decoy rig comparison up this week. I'll also probably do a review of my waders I got at the start of the season in the near future too (Redhead Canvasback Extremes.)
