was on Roger's today and saw they have brought back Federals "Red Box" I have heard it was a good load before. anyone ever shoot it? what do you guys think that have shot it in the past? Thanks.

In my opinion it was the best 100% steel load that was ever produced. It patterned well out of my Beretta with heavy payloads being pushed along at a pretty good clip.

I agree, it was a great load for me. 3" #6 for ducks and honkers was deadly! Scheel's used to carry it

(I'm assuming this is steel.)
Holy light loads, Batman! 3" #6 for ducks is light, let alone for geese. What did it pattern like at 30 yards?

Do these shoot cleaner than the blue box loads? I shoot #2s and BBs in the blue box and get great results but they are DIRTY. For $30/case I may upgrade if I see similar patterning results.

I have also noticed the blue boxes are a bit dirty
