Out of curiosity, what other photos did you send in Mike? The shot they selected is great, but I've seen much better as far as composition and content from you. I'm always curious what they DON'T select.

That Andy Wooten's photo is absolutely awesome too.

Why don't you send any in or do you?

I sent 1 photo into a contest last year, but that's the only one I've entered.

Mike has a couple photos right off the top of my head that would be better at beating the wooten photo. You got my vote Mikey!



Guess what I'm trying to say is I'm dissapoited there isn't a light house photo involved as that was my favorite.

I'm not going to lie... I voted for the photo with the little boy and his dad. That's what it's all about. I am sure that it was harder to capture the mallard tornado, but I am all about passing it on to the next generation. Sorry.

Hey at least I voted for that photo for the right reason. I would love to see the Iowa guy win it, but everyone has a right to their own opinion, and I liked that one best.

Bullcan we always have know you were a little different.
Actually if it was not for the local community factor that would have taken my vote as well.

I would like to know why they chose that one as well. You have some great ones in your portfolio.

Thank you. Those were all taken with a cheap little camera too. As far as the voting goes, It's just the way I am. I guess I could have voted for the other one and then lied about it on here, but that's not my style. I hope he wins the contest without my vote because that is a good photo. It's my second favorite out of the group. You can just feel the bond between father and son in that picture that I voted for.

I voted for ya! Nice work. I really enjoy checking out the photos on here. Some true talent. Just a comment about that photo on the contest of the man throwing out decoys with the fog, why would you submit a crooked photo like that? At least straighten it up. Just a pet peeve.
