Do we need a home page???

Todd I think it would be a good idea even if only to better promote our sponsors.

I think it would be neat to see the last 10 topics as oppose to 5. However I don't think you have the room. I find myself missing posts, as most time I just check the 5 on the front. NOT COMPLAINING HOWEVER.

i don't think the homepage is necessary....i come on here to read the forums and get sponsor updates...i also log on to use the "view posts since last login" to see what posts i have missed. ten threads would be nice, but that link does the trick too

I say either way it's good. I like what we have but the Wi site looks good too. I say whatever you think is more appealing to and more effect for your sponsors because let's face it they are your bread and butter and what keeps the site free for the members.

Cater to their needs and whatever makes the site so that they want to advertise here, go for it. I assume your end goal is to build lang standing trusting relationships with good sponsors who realizes your goals or business plan not just thier wants or the dollar right in front of their face. Does that make sense? I amnot talking about the guy that will go to any length for shameless self promotion but the guy who realizes your business is just as improtant to you as his is to him.

id like that when u click on one of the last 5 topics it would goto the last post that was posted. just an idea

I think a home page Would be a good thing most important is to give the sponcers a in your face place!!! But i am happy with things the way they are now also. But it wouldnt hurt eother way

We have one Steve www.iawaterfowlers.com new video each day, sponsors and misc hunting videos, and maybe sometimes a beer commercial. If you press on the iawaterfowlers logo on the top left of the site, it takes you there.
