I looked at some of the Dakota XFD floating goose decoys at Gander Mountain last night. They are a HUGE decoy, and in my opinion the best looking on the market, but for $50 each they can keep them. They are made exclusively for Gander Mountain too, so you can't get them anywhere else for less $$$. Gander Mountain is having a pretty decent discount sale online right now, but of course they don't list the XFD's online.
50 bucks per decoy is a joke.....I wouldnt buy them either. Problem with the big ones is you cant put a whole bunch of them in a boat unless you hunt off an aircraft carrier. I have 30 G&H standard siz floaters that look really good. I can fit them all in my boat along w my duck floaters if I stack them right. I'd rather have the numbers than a few bigger ones.
I just reserved the last 3 six packs they had. Thank you very much Shelby. Usually I am the guy that finds out about that as someone is walking out with the last box of something like that.
