If ive been seeing geese short land other real geese that are in the same field ill place my blind infront/downwind of my spread, depending on the field too, like I wouldnt do it in bean stubble.

I'll usually place my blinds in the spread about 1/3 of the way back to allow easy shots. If the birds are doing something were I need to adjust the blinds, I'll do that. For me, the last resort is to put the blinds out in front of the spread because I just dont like doing that. I'd rather have a side shot or let them work all the way into the decoys and have the blinds behind the decoys.
