Having our first baby around May. Excited for a future hunter in the blind! Don't know the gender but we are pretty much set on the girl names. We are struggling with good boy names. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I had the choice if it was a boy and she got to pick the girl name. I had the name Hunter picked out and she had Avery. Well now I definitely know the name Hunter fits my son perfect. He's always by my side when I'm in the marsh or woods. Still remember the first time I took him on a hunt and so does he. Got a picture from that day. Someday he can show it to his children. But don't let a minute pass by without taking a picture of them doing the first things in life. You as well as them will cherish it for the rest of there life. Congratulations and good luck, once you see him/her you will have it figured out, don't sweat it. Get some sleep now because there is no rest in the near future. you've been warned lol

Name them something that means something to you. Just picking a name from a book or from dudes on the interweb is not the way to go, IMO. Name him/her after someone that has meant a lot to you, or someone who you would like to be more like.

I like using maiden names as middle names or a blend a couple names together. Just make sure it is heartfelt and has meaning. Kids will grow into whatever name they have. Most of the time we don't even call our kids by by their given names. As I begin to age in to my mid life crisis years, I am learning that meaning means a lot more then cool. just my $.02
