Harlequin, scooters, goldeneye. Little mix of everything. Day 1, headed out shortly.

Had a pretty amazing first say. We all shot at least one drake harlequin, and then picked up a few scoters and goldeneye. And a merganser to boot.

Day 2, less heavy, but still shot several beautiful goldeneyes and another harlequin. His crab pot floaters dissapeared though, which was dissapointing!!

Day 3 was jacked, a lot of surf and white wing scoter!

This trip was a blast.

Day 4 and final day in Seldovia, Alaska. Shot a pretty mix of birds, rounding out the last few we wanted. In 4 days of hunting we shot 56 ducks and 7 different species. This place is simply stunning. View attachment 54906 View attachment 54912 View attachment 54914

Well, 3 of the 4 are done!

Day 1

We had some awesome drone footage the first day, but an unfortunate drone accident resulted in a damn pricey drone on the bottom of the bay on day 2. Still they were fun to film and my buddy put them all together.

cameras always make pictures and video different from actual so knowing this, how far away are the farest decoys from you hunting/shooting??

It varies greatly. When we would set up a spot they're pretty close, but the tide raises something like 25 ft over about 8 hours right now, so you have to keep backing up the rocks or shore. Some places you can bring you decoy anchor with you, sometimes you can't. You combine that with birds that are a lot faster and harder to kill, makes for some challenging shots at times.
