    Have owned a Beavertail 1648 since 2000. Have ran from a 40hp outboard to a 35hp longtail on this boat. I think pods are the greatest thing since the invent of the duckbilled pushpole. Any negatives to pods? I know I sell a quite a few.

    Well it turns out that my buddy decided to not buy my 1660 monarch jon boat so now I am buying a 27hp gatortail. I was wondering what you guys think of adding pods to this boat with this motor? I was also wondering should I buy the pods from beavertail.com?
