Set up at an old barn this afternoon. We spooked them out of the barn, and about 15 minutes later they started coming back. We ended with 25. It was nice to start practicing for the up coming seasons. Don't laugh, but I cleaned the ones we did not blow up to make cream pigeon and biscuits.
after a couple of surprising wins, my bears looked like their old selves last night....i was getting worried that they would pull out a half ass good season and hold on to lovie for one more year...i say either play well all season, or fall apart right now so we can get a new coach!
Ice cream truck music is going, I can hear it through the subdivision, kids are shitting all over them selves and cheech pulls up in the ice cream truck, flash back from the movie nice dreams. It was fuuny......guess you had to be there.....
I'm Ricky Hart and live in the small town of Sturgis, MI. I know a few guys on the forum, Adam, Mark, Miller, and of course Jason from Heavy Hauler Outdoor Gear. I look forward to talking with you guys and sharing ideas about the great sport of waterfowling. Take it easy!
One of the guys I work with moved here from Alaska this summer. He has always been a big game hunter (bear, moose, elk) but never waterfowl.
I have introduced him and his son to the addictive world of duck/goose hunting and told them they can go with me every weekend if they want to.

I shot this buck at 20 yards and ran about 30 and droped over, it was pretty awsome! He dressed at 201 lbs. 8 pointer and has a 15''spread.
