I just moved to Waukee about 3 years ago. I grew up in Kansas and lived in Kansas City for 10 years before moving to Waukee. Duck and goose hunting is my passion and I've been doing it since I was eight years old (I'm 33 now) Waterfowl hunting in Iowa is a little more challenging then in...

  4. Waterfowl Boats, Motors, & Boat Blinds
I currently own a 16ft SeaArk with a 10 year old Avery Quickset blind attached. Blind is still in great shape and serves its purpose. I have a 40hp Mercury on the boat so a hard sided blind wouldn't slow it down too much. I am dead set on building or buying a hard sided blind. I want shelves...

It's hard to believe the season is over. Ducks and geese were great this year until they all moved over to the no shoot zone. It is hard to believe it has been 10 yrs since the 1999 New Years Y2K Hoolpa. Remember all the stupid shit people were doing? Building fallout shelters, adding wood burning fireplaces, stocking up on food and water. I figure these past 10 yrs and anything more we live is just gravy!

(not written by me, but makes me think about his comment "geese get decoy shy after seeing the same Goose Hunting Decoy Placement") Goose Hunting Decoy Placement is not hard, but can be the make or break in your Goose Hunting Adventure. When putting out decoys there are several Things to...
