Looks like there on the outskirts of the population centers... But there's one close to all those locations. Heck, you'll drive 2 hours to kill ducks... We can drive 20 minutes to a meeting.

Had the same thing happen with a bag of Dakota lessers durring the early season. Few chipped beaks, bent bases, but for the most part no worse for wear! Was rather impressed!

Up to you. It's filled with sky busting early shooters. An there are virtually no birds. Usually about 15 boats there on the weekends. I would suggest heading over to big marsh for a more enjoyable...

Remember there is nothing heavy about the new hevi steel. Just regular old steel shot.

Having said that, it did pattern okay through my gun and I put some geese down with it- no issues to speak...

Eclipse plumage. I'm sure the ratios are about the same as any other duck, just they are all brown. You catch some coming through in late oct or early nov and you'll be able to tell what's what.
