looking to get everyone's opinion on the best pair of breathable waders....bought a pair of those wing supply ones last year and lasted good all season got them out this spring to wade for some walleyes and I think every seam leaked.

From everything I have heard the new Banded breathables are in a class of their own. Several guys say they are the best fitting, most comfortable, and durable waders they've ever put on. However the price is way up there but you get what you pay for

I've had the Banded breathable waders and I ripped a hole in them after 2nd time using them but they were vary comfortable so I returned them for a second pair but the 2nd pair felt completely different and I hated them so I returned them and got my money back. I've bought multiple things from banded and haven't been impressed with the quality considering how high priced they are, anymore I usually buy Drake.

I have had Cabela's breathable for 3 years. Had to repair a seam leak last year. I've looked at Cabelas and don't see any like the ones I have, which fit nice and I love them. Any more info on the banded or better ones? Thanks.

I bought a pair of the Cabela's Instinct waders last season. They kept me dry and you barely even realized you were wearing waders when walking in/out of the field. The convertible feature was nice when hunting early season and the temps were relatively warm. Once the colder weather hit, I just layered up underneath and had no issues staying warm either.

The boots have been redesigned. I had a pair that were hard on my feet too, which subsequently got shredded in Arkansas in some brush. The replacement pair I ordered were much, much better.

They are by far the most comfortable waders I've put on. There are some conditions where neoprene may be better (thick brush, ice), but I'll still never buy a pair after wearing the insulated breathables.

I love love love my cabelas breathables. I have the ladies model and they actually fit, which is refreshing. Going on 4 years with these and I only put my neoprenes on for going through brush and breaking ice. I'll admit I don't take the best care of them (they bounce around the truck a lot) but no leaks yet! The boots aren't as heavy duty as I'd like but it sure makes them handy for summer trout fishing.

I've had good luck with Cabela's breathables as well and think the model I have is the First Flight series which they haven't made for a couple years but think I'm going on 5 or 6 years with them.

I've had a few small tears in them from wear and a small tear in the boot but alittle aqueaseal and they've been fine.

Comfy to wear the majority season and add layers has it gets colder til the neoprene supermags need to come out.

Agreed. These will rip on snags, and you will know when it happens, but the holes are pretty easy to find and patch. Best Pair for the money imo.

I have had the Cabelas for 3 years now, they started leaking last year. I would check out the Rogers 2n1s that came out this year. I liked them, but they didnt have stout sizes yet, so I went with Drake insulated breathables
