My honker spread is 95% of the time on the upwind side of my ducks. Have remotes for your spinners so you can shut them off when geese are working.

decoy spreads for Geese and Ducks on water

When water hunting ducks and geese into November (later in the year) do you guys mix your duck and goose decoys when you are running big spreads? I haven't had any problems decoying the ducks, but have struggled decoying the geese with spinners. Do you guys run a wad of geese to the downwind side of the ducks or just mix? looking for some ideas.
