Now that the season has been over for a few weeks, I had a chance to edit the pictures from the season.

This spring was another odd one with the weather and how warm it got early as we all know and it proved to be difficult season has far as harvest numbers was concerned. None the less, it was an enjoyable season and had just enough action of birds in the face, to feed the addiction

Started to pack the equipment on the Ranger on a clear night full of stars:

The mig spread was put out for the 1st time in a couple years but the pizza was enjoyed more then shooting of birds as we only killed a few over the spread:

With the warm weather, I was able to hit the water early and the first birds of the season was killed there:

Some birds showed up in the area so Miller came over and a few dropped into the decoys but mostly it was just picture taking:

The birds sure seem to laugh at me every once awhile, here I'm working on the Ranger and they come over the house:

With sunshine and south winds, we had high hopes for the water this day but instead, enjoyed egg sandwiches and strudels:

After struggling the first month of the season, it was time to find the birds and I also found a unique scene with the sun setting below to jet trails in the sky:

The first nice # of birds on the front rack was St Paty's weekend and it was a rough weekend going on two hours of sleep after working and meeting to put out the spread:

A day that we experienced snow showers followed by sun and having the birds come out a few hours later then expected. Glad the wait was worth it:

Hoping for some juvies to play into the water spread, I went out a few more mornings and got treated to some beautiful sunrises and a few flocks into the decoys:

Sure wish a set up conditions like this was all the time instead of just when it rained alot:

But it didn't help us fool birds when running traffic as the Ranger driver had no luck over the decoys this year:

The bird numbers dwindled down much much quicker then I had hoped but we kept at em and had alittle shooting:

The final sunrise of the season ended with birds staying on the roost:

Now its time to clean the equipment and put it away until next February and of course, maybe add to that equipment as well

Thanks for looking

For some reason, this set of pictures when posting are blurry so I'm not sure whats going on has my image host site, they are fine :(
