Stumaas, Thank you very much for the messages! It sounds like you had some great experiences out in the Northwest, And I definitely could see myself giving it a run out there. The jobs with the Forest Service sound like some great times, and some tough work!! I guess the Story County Draft Board just kept you from becoming a Mountain Man haha.

I'm from CR. I do get your perspective on everything. I guess I just speak for my situations. On our side of the state we are normally done by Thanksgiving. If the ducks have not shown up by then, they are not going to. Watched it happen way to many times. Right before freeze up everyone thinks we are going to get a big push. Never happens. But I speak for my area only. I know its much different on the MO river side where you guys may get some more ducks push through. But for us its over by Thanksgiving. Plain and simple, its just hard to please everyone. I'm not knocking what you guys want. I'm just voicing that I'm happy with season structure. I'm not a person to drive to shoot ducks either. I hunt probably 35 days of the season and by the end of our season, I'm ready to hang it up. Sorry if I offended you. Doug

Bill been on FPB for last 3 days. Got home Wed night around 1030 PM. Marian is in MRRIC and I have been mowing the lake areas and am ready to roll them if I can get some moisture. North lake still has some water, but I want to pump it for the teal season. Mid-lake and south lake are pretty dry. Still have some water on the west side and up on the public ground there are 100+ Canadas and 200 pelicans. We do have a couple ducks and 25 blue herons ... . Bout it. Up all nite catching up -- probably won't get a good start come daylight. SWM

Gentlemen besides sending E - Mails to the director of The IDNR Chuck
Gipp & IDNR fish & wildlife bureau chief Dale Garner asking them to
rescind the NRC June vote , It is crucial at this moment to contact the
Governor of Iowa Requesting that he Invoke his Executive Authority to
rescind the NRC June vote on Iowa's 3rd zone and Restore that vote back
to the April vote to which we all Supported.

Make that call today all the way up to July 11, this is a precautionary
measure to protect ourselves from waiting to long to act and may be our
only true course of action that fully resolves the problem.

Call :Phone: 515.281.5211 and request to speak to the Governor, if you
are forced to leave a message with staff advise them exactly what this
is about and what you want him to do.

Spread the word and get others involved, this has to be a joint effort
by us all if we are to correct this wrong done by the NRC vote of June.
