Quacker- bad news for me, I tried this and took it to work and have probably smoked another 50 blocks of cheese since. Everyone has loved it, thanks for the advice.

Side note, tried 2 different marinades on the same cut of meat sliced two different ways tonight for jerky. All turned out good and will post a recipe once I get it figured out!

Has anyone ever smoked a pickle brine??

I’m brining Wild Turkey and a couple Goose breasts for Christmas dinner. I used a Citrus Brine I found on All recipes website. I did Turkey for Thanksgiving and it was hands down the best turkey we’ve ever had. Brine it for 24hrs, wrap it in Bacon and smoke at 250 for 3 hours. I hope the goose turns out as well as the turkey did!
