Thanked: 401 times | ![]() SB 2201 - Allows a nonresident to purchase a waterfowl license that is valid for three four-day periods for $200, and $50 of the fee must be used for the Private Land Open To Sportsmen program. So Far Passed in the Sentate 35-10 and On to the house: Watch progression here SB 2315 - Would require permission from the landowner to hunt on private land. Currently permission must be received if the land is posted. |

So would you need a written agreement with the private land owner before you hunt so the CO doesn't ticket you because the land owner couldn't remember who they gave permission to.

Thanked: 1,726 times | ![]() That's pretty much any where. Only the land owner or their representative can press charges and with out written permission you could be screwed. I have gone to getting some of my permissions by text especially from out of state land owners. In Nebraska just because some one rents the land, they don't rent or control the hunting rights unless it is spelled out in the lease. I do know the farm managers in all cases and they have always been aware and are in agreement with land owners wishes.

Thanked: 1,726 times | ![]() It was a bust. 6 to 8 inches of snow on Tuesday night and all the ponds froze up.

That sucks. Someone up satairs didnt want me to hunt the month of January. I am sitting at home with a severe cold. So much for one last try. I even missed Ajs basketball games today.
