Wish I'd take more action shots of mine .
Had quite a few of my old dog but they didnt get backed up .

my last Lab, Maggie. she wasn't the best hunting Lab that I have owned but she had the best personality.

this picture was taken up at Santee, NE. it was 8 degrees that morning when we put the boat in the water. We were all amazed that it could be that cold and the water was all still open. Between the current and the water temp it didn't freeze. this morning we shot a 6 man limit of ducks comprised of 11 species. it was an awesome day. we took turns shooting and picking out drakes and different species. the last bird of the day went to one of the youth that was with us. A single Green Wing came right in the hole. he missed the first shot because his gun got caught up in his call lanyard. He killed it with the second shot. When Maggie retrieved it; it was banded. A great end to an epic day

Great story Getduck.
Heres the last picture i have of Annie before we lost her too young . She was the best waterfowl dog ive ever been around . And the perfect companion.
But she had a weakness for trying to sneak a bite out of the garbage.
