Default Bags???

So I've been having a heck of a time finding guys who want to hunt, so been packing all my stuff in solo.

24-30 decoys in a bag, my gun, mojo duck on a pole and a box deal w/lid that I sit on and store my stuff (found out it's not waterproof which sucks).

I got some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket, buying one of those Higdon XS pulsator's for some on the water motion.

Also need a duck strap, as it's been a PITA trying to carry out my take for the day (Good problem to have)

My dilemma is this-I need to replace that seat/box deal with some sort of bag that ideally could carry the motion decoys (Mojo king mallard and that Higdon) without spending $100.

Should I just get a black duffle bag? Would like for it to be more waterfowl focused (pockets, waterproof/resistant etc) if possible, but from looking at Rogers website I'm not finding anything suitable that's also affordable.

Banded's Arc Welded backpack. Room for 2 spinners and a lot more gear. Can modify to carry your gun as well.

Take a look at the Higdon 4 slot motion decoy bag. Has slots for wings, mesh bottom, side mesh pouch and a velcro pocket. Has carry straps and a single shoulder strap. $30 online.

I've got one of the 4 slot Higdon bags. I can fit my Pulsator,
2 Mojos, dead ducks and shells in mine. Works great.

I have sleds and a homemade cart. It's a lot easier on the body to drag/push your gear than putting the load on your shoulders.

The Beavertail sled is nice and it floats on the water if it isn't too overloaded. If you want to go the cheap route you can always buy a black snow sled at Menards (Although they don't float). Just sling the tow rope around your waist and away you go!

The carts are nice too if you want to fork up the $$

If you decide on the sled route, Walmart sells a harness that can be clipped to your sled and then the harness goes over your shoulders.

Much easier to pull with your body then your arms and leaves your arms free to carry shotgun or other items if needed.

I REALLY like the idea of that sled, particularly if I can get it to float (even marginally) as I'm getting damn tired of lugging all that stuff around! labor of love I suppose, as it beats the chit out of staying home
