Default How does the blind look

Keep in mind I am new to this. I bought raffia grass and hated how bright it was. So I added green.....only to find out I added green glossy paint to it.🤣
So, I have to add other colors to fix it and I still will find a glossy spot here and there.

The bow I hate. It is a big waste of space. I want to bend some PVC and pitch it a bit to make more room for the dog and a heater up there.

Fire away, what did I do right and what did I do wrong, and how can I make it better.

Thanks

The bow. Waste of space.

Looks better than mine. I don't have a boat. The front is always the hardest but we usually just lay a piece of fast grass over it. Here is a pic of the inside of my tub blind we made.

I never looked at the bow as wasted space. That's where my dog always sat.

Looks good, Iím sure youíre not finished yet, but crawl up on your roof and then look it over. Any openings on top will be worse than what it looks like standing next to it.

The bow is where we stack the Birds in separate piles. For every Hunter.

Thanks. Actually the bow is much better now that I pulled it back and snuggled it up. Still think I will put something up there.

Yes, the top....forgot about the top......maybe clippings from my location?

On your original post I responded about cutting Sawgrass and zip tying them into bundles so you can lay them across the top openings. One thing that I always think one needs to do is cut some natural vegetation and stick it in the top straps to break up that square horizontal looking line. there is not large horizontal lines in nature. that makes boat blinds stand out on a marsh

Got it, thanks. Walked through some of that grass chasing a dog while in shorts. My legs look like they got samuried!

Gas powered hedge trimmers are the cat's meow for cutting Sawgrass
