Last I heard/saw the edges started to open but froze again. The ice of I29 looked pretty rotten.

The ice is still here, like Condn said, its rotten and the edges are unthawed. A lot of geese are moving around here in SWI!!!

Ice should be better in a week as of last wknd on a pond that I could hunt, it was a good 8-10".

The stakes will be interesting to get in the corn fields as well, bringn the good old cordless drill and putting them in the corn stalks is my plan.
