I after this post I am 100% confident you have never hunted before. I don't see a single bird feeding on the ice through the entire video.

If there was corn why did they all walk off to the field not soon after landing?

I honestly don't see one thing wrong with the way they hunted. They were totally ethical. They only shot at the birds they knew they were going to kill. They could have let the birds get up but they didn't. Sure they could have shot their limit quick, but it being the last hunt of the year that wasn't their intention. They obviously wanting to make the hunt last and look for bands. I mean sure they educated a lot of birds, but on the last day how many people would be worried about educating geese? The hunt wasn't a bad hunt at all. I see this hunt better than most people who will shoot at birds while flying by or birds that are out of range.

I mean compared to letting em land to jump them all for a band or two. I would rather take my birds, then sit and watch with the camera clicking.

This is true.. But as you see the three guys don't all shoot. So let them one person shoot and you can take the pictures. Capture the moments all together while killing a couple birds

Funny how your first post said you didnt agree with the way they hunted because they shot them off the ice.

That's the part where I said they could hVe let the birds get up.. I don't 100% agree with ground pounding birds. I mean sure they could have let them get off the ice. I wouldn't personally shot them on the ground. But I'm not gonna bitch and moan and say that the hunt was unethical and shit. This hunt they finished the birds. If it would have been me hunting I would have got up and let the birds get up also. I won't bash someone for shooting a bird and killing it when it does everything right. However I don't like people who will shoot birds that are way out there and cripple them. Never once did I say I agreed with them ground pounding the birds on the ice.

I have to agree with Matt, when they are that close on the ice then what's the difference. The argument is made to give them a chance? There shouldn't be any difference in chance standing on the ice or a foot off the ice at that distance it's game over.
