Been waiting on this thing to come for about a month and a half. My 5500hd mud buddy finally came today and man is it sweet and does she scream!! Just need some weight in the front end and its time to invest in some pods!

Should be able to see Dia. and Pitch markings behind the shaft nut. I think I saw where the Hammer measured 12.75 Dia. By 11 pitch. The Big Blade is 12.25 X 10P. If your motor can hit the rev limiter or 4000rpm and above you can probably run the Hammer Prop, I can run it on my motor, but My boat is only 320 Lbs. Any heavier boat or wider bottomed boat may have a problem turning it. Really hard to beat the Big Blade for all around use.

That's a great looking boat. I might have to stop by and see it when we're up there.

That is awesome!!! I wish I had one!

Not trying to be a na-sayer but why didn't you spend the extra $500 for the larger motor? Is it too big or 5500 fit your needs more?

Again, just curious...if I'm ever blessed to be able to get something like this, I just want to know what went into your decision.

The dealership gets paid to do warranty work from the manufacture and gets reimbursed for the parts.

Every serviceable part has time associated with it. That time is converted to $. So basically the manufacture says a trim unit should take 1 hour to replace at $100 shop rate. So they reimburse the dealership $100 and the cost of the part. So sold their or not should not matter.

Its sounds to me like they got paid twice for doing one job.
