I have been wanting to try calling some coyotes for the last couple of years but never really had the time or the money to buy a call or give it a try. So this year i decided I would give it a try. My only problem is I don't really know what kind of mouth call to get a cottontail or a coyote call. what would you guys recamend for a newbe? Any suggestions will help a lot.

Thanks,
Dylan

I got into it a couple years ago. It's very frustrating and fun. Patience is key. Not the patience that bow hunting takes but you have to be persistent. I would suggest a cottontail call if you can't afford both. Deffinately try to learn from someone who knows the sport. It will be greatly beneficial.

I use this call. Its very natural sounding. So easy to blow.
Makes the gnarly dying rabbit noise. Long range and cheap.

you can buy it here at BPS
