Big water for divers.

The one bird I have not shot is the cinnamon teal. I will shoot one before to long.
I can hook you up with a guide in Cali that does a guaranteed weekend hunt for them for $500. I may head out there next January if you want to go along.

Shot a can. Back this year and that was a first. We got a golden eye and some other divers that you don't see evey day. I want a pintail with good color, or a wigeon. That would get me excited.

I shot my first Bufflehead (hen) on Friday... Shot my second Bufflehead on Sunday. A really nice Drake. I'm sure I'll regret not hanging him in my house.

Black scoter, oldsquaw, and black/mallard cross( not to rare but not common in iowa). A good friend of mine's father killed a brant on the river some years back too.

All were killed on the Mississippi river. The brant was killed on pool 16 near Muscatine in the jungle for ya'll who know where that is. The black/mallard was north of the QC on the river in 2009. The scoter was killed at Green Island in 2009. The old squaw was on the river north of the QC killed in 2007. Had pics of the scoter on my old phone. I do have pics of the black/mallard on my profile here.

I saw a drake cinnamon at Dunbar Slough about 10-11 years ago in the spring while snow goose hunting. It was sitting in a flooded ditch 5' from the road. Simply awesome. Never seen one in the fall though
