Hey guys,

My name is Garrett Feddersen, I'm currently in Des Moines attending med school. I'm a second year med student and worked as a paramedic before that. Originally I am from NW Iowa (Ida Grove), went to school in Eastern Iowa (Mt. Vernon), and deer hunt down around Clarinda. I am a long time upland game hunter, deer hunter, even a little coyote and turkey. It wasn't until last season that I really got into waterfowl, and now I'm hooked. Smile

I have a 2 yr old Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Orion who is just getting into his own in waterfowl. Doesn't have a clue what do do looking for a pheasant, but damn can he swim. I also have a rescued black lab that I am thinking about working up for upland game.

Like I said, still trying to get the hang of this waterfowl thing, figuring out calls, building up my decoys, etc. Lookin to buy some decoys, if anyone has some they want to get rid of at a good price. Other than that, always on the lookout for a few good pointers. Smile

Hello Garrett, Looks like you've got a pretty good start on the sickness. Nice job on the rescue Lab. I just trained my 3rd dog, first time I used a book, Hes alot better then I ever hoped for. Great lookin Chessie you have there. Welcome to the Site...
