I'd stay away from the trailers on eBay. Most are made very poorly and will not withstand being driven through fields - especially frozen chisel plow.

Trailer is one thing I definitely wouldn't skimp on - especially if you ever plan on pulling it any distance aside from just to and from your local field. Keep your eyes peeled for local buy and sell ads and on other websites.

Tim in Morris Ilinois. Funk trailer sales. I am getting my 6x12 there for $1895.00. That comes with a 3 year warranty.
Adam, is it a v nose or not??? I would like to find a v nose but i found one for 2299 for a v nose 2010 14'.. just 20 miles away.. had a straight one for 2199.00
or a 6x12 for 2100.00 with a ram p door over by Indy..

nope not a v nose. I personally have yet to see the V nose make a difference pulling the trailer but that is just me.

thanks guys.. i dont want to get a cheap one.. i gound some that are abuot 140 miles away for 1975 for a 6x12 with doors not a ramp.. ramp is 125 xtra.. i may go and look at them this week.. I just dont want to go to small or buy a junk one..
I would spend the xtra 125 and get the ramp. If you ever want an ATV, and it is easier to get in and out with the ramp.

i actually hate the ramp doors....i busted 2 off of trailers in the past. after a few years they get all rusted and the springs get junk in them even if you clean them. after a while the hinges won't open all the way and they start breaking off the trailer. i even had this happen on a featherlite. i prefer barn doors. i guess if i wanted to put a four wheeler in i would buy ramps or throw 2X6s in the truck. i do prefer the v nose trailers though.

I agree craig my trailer is going to be without ramps as well. If I need a 4 wheeler in there I will just bring along the ramps I have. I have seen way to many of the ramp doors dented from the corn stubble and I know of alot of guys who had to replace the hinges on the bottom of the ramp doors.
