Lots of high flying teal and brown ducks today. Probably the best numbers so far this year. Not too many coming in close though.

We saw many groups of migrating ducks and a few flocks of geese. A couple came down but most kept on going south. Not many birds in our area at the moment. We usually hear dozens of shots but we only heard a couple today, and those were probably from pheasant hunters. Regardless, it was nice to see some migration.

Saw lots of new birds today! Can't say that all of them were high flyers. They were just high enough that they didn't want to land in my creek spread but rather in the fields around me. I limited out today in 13 minutes. 5 gwt and a smilin' Susie

2 flocks of specks, one that peddled around the marsh for what seemed like an hour. The others were a mile up.plenty of ducks but all rafted up after LST. Got one crack at a small bunch of mallards, I killed one drake, other 2 guys missed. Ducks were back dooring us all a.m. not wanting to work into the wind. I hate a NW wind for set up. Too much damn sun on the hide and the dekes

Saw lots of snows and some specks moving early. New greenwings, mallards and divers. Calendar birds were off a couple weeks this year.
