There were 30 boats crammed into the ramp at 2 this afternoon. A whole lot of excitement over teal if you ask me.

Some would say the same about traveling to Florida to hunt teal.

We got out on Saturday and saw some nice flocks of teal. A lot of them was before shooting time but there were still some moving after sunrise. Sounds like Sunday was better.

I talked with a couple at Riverton Saturday night and they stated that the CO had been around in the morning checking everyone. Made comments about people still shooting early.

Not too bad today. 8 hunters and we took 41 teal. Was hard early with the heavy fog.

When you say "we" does that mean you crammed 8 guys in one blind at Chichaqua?

So three or four groups picked the best blinds in the marsh and hunted a marsh that hasn't been hunted yet this season (wasn't today the first day it has been open this season?) Kind of like hunting a refuge huh? Are you really surprised you had a decent hunt?

I had room in my blind for you. And you know the blinds are limited to a 4 person limit per blind. And of course, the reason to go duck hunting is to shoot ducks. And my camera goes with me everywhere but after taking a few thousand pictures of waterfowl you get kind of get tired of it. Now moving on to pictures of insects . Bring on the teal. And the Canada geese and the mallards. And throw in a few snow geese too. I'm ready.
