I traveled 20 miles of river this past weekend and saw maybe forty Wood Ducks, but no Teal at all. Hope someone is having better luck than me. Also, I hear that Brown's Slough has only about a foot of water and a ton of tall grass. That doesn't sound real great either?

Better wear our helmets this weekend. There will be plenty of farm boys shooting heavier loads.

Mainly green wing. But the blue wings I have shot until late October.

I don't really hunt them, because they are too easy and there are so many of them around though. When I hunt water I prefer to go for mallards, wigeon, pintails, and divers.

This thread certainly doesn't help. It's unfortunate that there are literally guys that troll forums (probably mainly guys that register and don't post or don't even register) that look at threads like this instead of looking at a 5 day for cast and figuring out for themselves when there may be a push. Or go look somewhere for themselves and see with their own 2 eyeballs what's around for birds.

Duckslayer, you must enjoy crowds. I think I said it last year and I'll say it again. If you want to help some strangers, you should just post up when and where you're getting into them. Or take some rookies out hunting and shoe them the basics.

I'll bet there were 30-40000 of them a week ago when I was back home visiting and decided to swing through there.
