You are either trolling or from NE Iowa. "You would be a fool not to think so", those are some pretty strong words considering there has yet to be measurable snow north of us and it is just getting cold enough to freeze.

Teal, shovels, gads, wood ducks, ext have passed threw for the most part, and are ducks. Mallards, no they are still north. But most the ducks, he is probably right.

Come back to this thread in 3 weeks boys and tell me that we are loaded with ducks and I will eat my words. Show me lots of pics then as well that there are just loads of ducks around. Sure some guys are going to kill them in the fields, but this happens every year like this. Everyone thinks we are going to get this huge mythical push after the season cause our season ends too soon. Sure we might stack up a few in certain areas, but the majority are gone. I hope I'm wrong and you guys can prove me wrong. Seen many seasons like this and I know how it ends. Believe what you want

So the peak migration of gray ducks has happened? I'll agree with that, but most ducks? No. Considering that last year the estimated Mallard population more than doubled any other species of duck except teal, peak migration has not yet happened.

Add teal numbers in with the grey ducks, I think the majority of ducks are south of us. Mallards no, but ducks in general yes. And you can never count on mallards to move when u think they should.

Not all of the gray ducks have migrated yet. The big clusters yes, maybe, but there are still sizable populations along with the mallards north of us.

I don't disagree with you at all. But any duck that wants to fly south with mallards, again I don't trust. Its seems to take an act of god some years to get them to move south.

In 3 weeks I will post up some December footage for yah and I expect you to eat every last word you wrote!. lol

Again, it doesnt matter 1 bit what is sitting in Mo. or Arkie land during the hunting season. What matters is the ducks the stop here and when that happens.

It just started here last week and it will progressively get so good that I may turn the tip of my barrel white and blow a firing pin out.

You guys on the big rivers suck. If I had a ice eater I would be in buisness, guessing 3 inches on small stuff by Sunday morning.
