Depending on how far you have to walk, I would bring some full-bodies along to put on a sandbar along with floaters. Adds extra realism to the spread...If you don't shoot any ducks, I'm sure you may get a chance at some honkers because I know there are a lot of them in that area.

i dont have any fullbodies but i have some shells will they work very well on a sandbar?

ive narrowed it down to around chelsea or closer to belle plaine around koszta?

That's s good area either way.. if I were you, I'd lean towards the latter... good birds to be killed 10-15 miles down river no doubt

There is also a spring fed 'puddle' to the north of the river on the Corridor Project land near Kozste...could be a jump there. Haven't hunted it in years, used to be private ground 15+ years back that I had permission to hunt. Look at a satellite view to find it.

saw a pair of mallards that were too high and didnt decoy and one high flying flock of canadas
