I don't understand coming on a public waterfowling forum, and criticizing someone who is talking about duck hunting, and how good it might get soon.

Like most waterfowlers don't already know that it's going to get good around a major weather change. He's not really telling any secrets.

I just don't see what so many people on this forum are afraid of. Why can't we help each other out a little? Don't like it? Don't look at it, or participate in it.

Sorry, just had to vent. I will let the rest of you have at it now.

Its one thing when there are people who actually know what they are doing are out... its another when you make every other duck commander jack wagon, that isn't up to date on weather and movement, aware of the possibility to fire the gun a few times and ruin a whole morning on the marsh of their choice.. seems to happen every year... thank god its during the week that is being talked about.

A smart guy never tells a stranger where or when they find their bucks, or ducks. Most of us use public areas... that = more people... Figured most would have figured that out by now

It a great day to hunt when our marshes are crowded.... said nobody...EVER!

It's going to be too cold for those wannabes anyways.

It's almost like the ducks have calendars, but what do I know?

It was a genuine 3 ring Barnum and Baily circus at the marsh today boys and girls. Even the skybusters were pissed off at the skybusters. Saw more ducks sail today than I have in my entire life. Just when I thought the place was overcrowded another boat put in at 6:00 but, not to be outdone, another one put in at 6:30. Sure glad I took a vacation day today just to have mallards dumping into the blocks as one of the clowns decided to skybust at a teal all morning long.

Yep, always a good idea to post on the internet when it might be a good day for duck hunting.

Next spring I'll post the exact places I pick mushrooms and catch crappies. I love company!

You take this shit way too seriously. I guess if you can't kill a limit of greenheads every time out it's a bad day for you.

No, some of us just enjoy uncrowded hunting spots. I'll tell you anything I know about how to kill ducks, but I sure as hell am not telling anyone outside the people I hunt with that the birds are moving. Goes the same with fishing.

You can walk into any tavern on the river and find out if the birds are moving or if the crappie are spawning.

The internet/message boards do way more to crowd up public marshes than duck dynasty will ever do. There problem is that there are lots of people out there that just patrol the internet during duck season looking for info. It is a lot easier than getting out there and doing it yourself, I'm sure we are all guilty to an extent. As long as there is public access to big message boards there will always be people that flock to where someone said they shot a limit of ducks. Look how many more hits sites like this one get during the season bu non members.

Honestly this is all guess work that any guy could figure out himself by looking at the weather, this was more for discussion not to tell the internet when to be in the marsh.

I understand that, my post wasn't aimed at you. It was more about people posting about how great the hunting is then the next two days everybody and their brother takes off work. You would think most people would keep an eye on the forcast.
