Default Snow tomorrow.

With the predicted snow tomorrow how many of you guys think we will see new birds roll in...or all the birds we have roll out.

I think we are going to lose more than we gain. I imagine quite a few woodies will head for warmer climes tomorrow.

We are moving from our wood duck hole to the Mississippi in hoping that ducks are moving in and the woodies have moved out. But then again I could be wrong.

Woodys and teal will more than likely move out.

I was always told the woodies would leave as soon as the weather starts to turn.

Not always the case. I've shot wood ducks clear up to the last day of the season when most places are froze over. This front coming thru will run some of them out, mostly local birds, but new ones will move in and a few locals will still be around.

Yup, last year I shot a woodie last weekend of November up by Lansing and we broke ice that morning

Update: No snow up in SD or decent areas of MN, nor as cold as was forcasted. Birds should hold out a while longer yet.

There are snowballs falling from the sky. It's painful to sit in my office and stare out the window wishing I was in my boat.
