Default The Decoy Factory, Omaha NE

I was wondering if anyone has bought or uses decoys from there, we got a bunch of floaters and full bodies from him and they look amazing. Haven't hunted over them yet. Hopes they work out good!

All our snows and blues fb's are from don at the decoy factory, they look great, easy to set up but you can't carry a lot like you would Bigfoot or other full body's. The "H" stake legs are hassle, and they are Sharp and will puncture them. But they will still take the abuse of a snow goose hunter! Had one couple years ago get blasted with a 10 gauge and we will use it!

If you had them custom painted like mine (the blues especially) They look better than some factory made decoys IMO. They're durable, look great, very light weight, cheaper, and just a great decoy overall. Sure they may not have the great paint scheme as like GHG or Avian X Snows and Blues, but if I had to buy 1000 FB's I'd get the Omaha decoys over the top line decoys.

They are affordable, but "very light weight" they are not. Unless you're used to hunting over cinder blocks painted as geese..

I will agree the floaters are heavy but the full bodies are light! I would almost bet a doz of Omaha's would be half as light as a dozen GHG or Dakota, etc. I just think they are a very good effective decoy.

they are a cheap solution...foam floaters move fairly well in the water, but the fullbodies really don't move. they are foam...i don't know if i would call them durable. they break, they knick if you hit them with something...but they will last a while if you take care of them. i thought about picking some up a while ago before i hunted over them. unpainted decoys are a great idea until you have to paint them yourself...
